The Next Layer

The Next Layer is the second book in My Painted Elephant. Brenda finds herself in the "place where she feels good all of the time". Everything is just as she always wanted it, the people are interesting, the architecture and artworks are amazing. She has a room with a great view and downstairs there is a pool and a bar. She meets Paul who is her case manager/personal assistant. It is pretty cool.

Brenda struggles to except that her good modern life is all her life is going to be and leaves her family to write a novel while living rough in Paris. Her novel is about the Theodorus Spiral, holograms and time entanglement.
